Rotary Prahran members joined Melbourne Rotaractors & friends in cleaning up the Yarra River bank (in sweltering heat!) as part of their commitment to all things environmental. We fished a shopping trolley out of the water, got 10 used syringes out of harms way & bags of assorted trash.... great work team!

Our Club helped to build toilets for senior girls at a school of over 2,000 students with NO TOILETS! Only around 25% of these kids even have toilets at home.... open air toileting is the norm, but unsanitary & very unsafe. Next project, toilets for the middle school girls, then little ones then the boys.... keeping girls safe & in school!

The Rotary Foundation...OUR charity.... funds life changing and life saving projects all over the world. Run by volunteers, no administration costs.... support the Rotary Foundation & help us Make A Difference!

Help is always needed for a host of interesting Rotary Prahran projects both near & far, can you spare some time??

Homework Club will soon resume on Thursday afternoons 4 - 5pm, helping primary school students at the Horace Petty Estate and we will need helpers with Working With Children Check to join our team. Homework Club was suspended during the coronaviruslockdown, but once we are allowed back into our room it will be full steam ahead!
